Bulk edit not possible on fields of type `object`

Steps to Reproduce

• Create sites 1 and 2
• Create a custom object X
• Add a field of type object/site
• Create two custom objects of type X pointing to sites 1 and 2 respectively
• Navigate to the list views for X
• Select the 2 custom objects and click bulk edit

Expected Behavior

I am able to define a new value for the site field on both objects

Observed Behavior

I do not see the site field in the list of fields in the bulk edit screen
