Access to Tirzepatide (Mounjaro) for Weight Loss – June 2025

A new community-based weight management service is set to launch this summer with the new weight management ‘Tirzepatide’ medication (brand name Mounjaro®) being made available to NHS patients to support weight loss. Availability of the drug will be on a phased and prioritised basis and patients will need to fulfill the criteria.

Please do not contact us before it is confirmed the new service is available in our area, as we won’t be able to refer you.

Please read the FAQ section that explains how the medication works, who can prescribe it, alternative services available for weight loss, and considerations such as side effects, ongoing support, and costs.

Senior Partner Retirement – March 2025

We would like to announce that Dr Steere will be retiring as Senior Partner at Neston Medical Centre on 31st March after an incredible 38 years providing exceptional care to the people of Neston and surrounding areas. We are sure you will join us in wishing Dr Steere a happy and healthy retirement.

We would like to assure you that the practice will continue to provide excellent access to a high standard of care.

Patient Contact Details

At this practice, annual reviews, vaccinations, general appointments and prescription updates are communicated via SMS.  Therefore, please ensure you have provided us with your up to date contact information. If you do not have a mobile number, you will be contacted via your preferred method.

RSV Vaccinations

The practice will be offering the RSV vaccine from 7th September 2024.  Eligible patients will be contacted via text message. Please follow the link within the message to arrange an appointment.

Access to the building 

There is easy access into the medical centre at the front of the building. If you are unable to manage the door, please ring the bell located at the right-hand side and our staff will be pleased to assist you. We also have a large disabled toilet with wheelchair access. We also have 1 disabled parking space available.
