We identified problem areas through user interviews and usability testing, before heading into a redesign of the booking flow, informed by successful solutions used by HotPatch’s competitors, as well as our user journeys and persona. Having come across a local business whose e-commerce site did not intuitively lead clients to their items, I identified the blockers that dissuade users from completing their online transactions. Through user research, card sorting, usability tests, and the creation of a hi-fi prototype using Figma, I proposed a solution that would optimize the website, give a stronger brand voice, and increase sales.
