On Lifting Operations Safety Day 2025, Nass Corporation proudly reaffirmed its role as an industry leader in lifting safety, operational excellence, and workforce well-being. This milestone event united teams and divisions across all projects, underscoring our unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and world-class performance. Advancing Strategic Priorities Throughout the day, we delivered high-impact initiatives designed to drive our safety culture forward: *Live HOSASS Demonstrations: Practical demonstrations illustrated effective strategies to reduce personnel/load interface, underscoring our dedication to hands-free lifting operations. *Expert-Led Toolbox Talks & Safety Sessions: Engaging discussions fostered hazard awareness and risk mitigation, empowering our workforce to make safer decisions on the ground. *Crane Operator Accuracy Challenges: Operators showcased their precision and focus, reinforcing the critical role of skill and attention in safe lifting activities, with support from our Sister Company Sarens Nass. *Comprehensive Lifting Awareness Session & Quiz: Facilitated by FAHSS, this interactive session promoted knowledge sharing, clarified misconceptions, and highlighted both best practices and common pitfalls in lifting operations. *Health Checkups for Lone Workers: Dedicated health screenings for crane operators and riggers reinforced our ongoing commitment to worker well-being. *Distribution of Approved Rigger Gloves: These initiatives further strengthened our safety culture and ensured operational consistency across all sites, with support and contributions from our Sister Company Nass Commercial who sponsored the equipment. *Demonstration of our new Standardized Inspection Tags: These tags are industry best practice, and new introduced in all Divisions of the Nass Construction Platform. *Active HSE Leadership Participation: Project and divisional HSE leaders played a key role, ensuring alignment and readiness for the group-wide implementation of new learnings and improvements. Event Highlights: Emergency Evacuation Drill – Employees participated in a simulated evacuation, ensuring preparedness for potential workplace hazards. Motivational Address by General Manager – Mr. Nigel Hector delivered an inspiring speech, stressing the importance of safety and health, while commending employees for their commitment. Safety Pledge Signing – Employees demonstrated their dedication to workplace safety by formally signing the pledge to uphold safety practices. This initiative underscores Nass Corporation’s ongoing efforts to cultivate a strong safety culture and promote the well-being of its workforce.
