#WeOpenTheWay #Engagement #WeActForPeople   -------------------------   United for the reconstruction of Mayotte 🤝   I’m proud to announce that Colas is launching a skill-based sponsorship to rebuild Bamana high school in Mamoudzou, a historic school with more than 2,500 students.   Teams from Colas Mayotte are hard at work to restore part of the buildings that suffered significant damage from Cyclone Chido last year. This eight-month project will draw upon all our expertise, from materials to road construction, building, woodworking, electricity, and more 💪   This initiative is the culmination of our mobilization efforts over the last few months. Since the end of 2024, our subsidiaries have been on the front lines, working to restore the vital functions of Mayotte.   In close collaboration with residents, our teams, led by Jean-Michel Salles, have been repairing infrastructure (like roads and high-voltage networks) and buildings, such as social housing and administrative sites. From cranes to excavators to trucks, we’ve deployed about sixty machines across the island.   A big thank you to our teams in Mayotte, the Indian Ocean, and mainland France for everything they’ve accomplished since the disaster 👏 Their strength and commitment demonstrate our local roots and the essence of Colas' work: together, we connect people and communities.

[Press release 📢] Colas’ half-year results are now available online!     A few facts about Colas’ half-year 2025 results…  ➡️ The order backlog continued to increase, namely driven by order intakes from the Rail segment.  ➡️ Sales rose slightly, with an increase in the Rail segment and the North Europe and APAC zones.  ➡️ The current operating profit (COPA) slightly improved compared to last year, driven by the Rail segment and the EMEA and APAC zones.    ➡️ The net debt was at €511 million at end of June 2025, an improvement of €163 million compared to end of June 2024.    What is the outlook for 2026?  In a very uncertain economic and geopolitical environment, the Colas Group has strong fundamentals. At end of June 2025, the order backlog reached €15 billion and the part to be executed in the next 18 months was up by about €500 million compared to end of June 2024.    📑 To learn more, watch the below video and click in the first comment to read the Bouygues press release.     #WeOpenTheWay

[Press release 📢] Supporting the reconstruction of Mayotte 🫶   Through our subsidiary COLAS Mayotte, we’ve launched a skill-based sponsorship to rebuild the Lycée Younoussa Bamana high school that was partially destroyed by Cyclone Chido in December 2024. The project, located in Mamoudzou, is scheduled to begin in July and last for eight months. Teams from Colas Mayotte will volunteer to rebuild the first floor of three buildings at this historic school with more than 2,500 students. They will involve teams from all business lines: road construction, building, woodworking, electricity, not to mention the supply of raw materials. Through this initiative, Colas reaffirms its deep commitment to Mayotte and its youth, as well as its commitment to actively participating in the island's reconstruction and sustainable development. #WeOpenTheWay #Commitment #Respect #WeActLocally

[Our own way 🙌] Bringing new life to a 120-year-old bridge? Challenge accepted 💪 In the heart of Bundaberg, Queensland, our teams from COLAS Australia Group recently resurfaced the iconic Burnett River Bridge! Extensive planning was needed to manage the excavation, sealing, and asphalt activities carried out for this three-month project. Our crews rose to the challenges imposed by this worksite: no vibrations allowed, a strict 42.5-metric-ton load limit, and a 16-foot height restriction. How did we manage? ✔ Two weekend shutdowns ✔ Daytime excavation, nighttime asphalt works ✔ Safety measures to ensure the bridge was not overloaded or struck by the equipment All in all, an operation where planning, precision, and teamwork made all the difference to produce a quality product that met specification and minimized disruptions to the local community. A big round of applause for our teams; their dedication will ensure safer and more reliable travel across the region. Check out pictures from the project below! 👇 📸 Grant Turner #WeOpenTheWay #Commitment #Expertise

[Our own way 🙌] Yellow is the color of champions! 🏆🚲 Tomorrow marks the end of the Tour de France. Did you know that our teams have worked on roads that are part of this iconic race? Take a look at some of our projects below: 📍 A road in Nieppe, France 📍 Two roads in Dunkirk, France 📍 The Col de la Madeleine in the French Alps A big round of applause for our teams! They all deserve the yellow jersey 💪 It’s the final stage of the race for these bike pros, but across the world, soft mobility is still on the move every day. [Press release 📢] Artwork 🤝 Roadwork   On October 1-2, 2025, the Colas Foundation will be auctioning 82 canvases from its contemporary art collection of almost 400 paintings at Hôtel Drouot in Paris.    The funds raised by the auction will go to the Les Arts pour Apprentis d'Auteuil (Arts for Apprentis d'Auteuil) program, which uses artistic and cultural practices as an educational tool and a means of fostering social connection, reducing inequalities, and promoting empowerment and social integration.   Since 2022, Colas Foundation has evolved: after promoting conteporary art, the foundation now supports and promotes initiatives that foster the social and professional integration of children and young people through education, training, and access to employment, as well as through economic activity, sports, or culture.   To learn more, read the press release here 👉https://lnkd.in/efjM9Kdt #Commitment #ColasFoundation #WeOpenTheWay
