This upgrade is especially important on the Bogotá–Girardot corridor as a strategic route linking the capital to the Pacific coast and used by more than 2,500,000 heavy vehicles every year. This beautiful image says a lot about Entrevias’ strong commitment to protecting wildlife. 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗲 🇬🇷 In presence of the Greek Minister of Transport, Christos Dimas and VINCI Highways President, Belen Marcos, VINCI Highways and its partners inaugurated yesterday the largest highway solar farm ever developed in Greece. This new infrastructure covers 100% of Olympia Odos operational electricity needs and will enable 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮 𝗢𝗱𝗼𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗜 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟬.   The financing capacity and swift delivery at the heart of the concession model were key to this success, under the strong leadership of the Greek public authorities. This collective effort made it possible to: • Deliver the solar farm in less than two years, • Install 10 MWp of total solar capacity, • Deploy 19 photovoltaic parks along the highway, across Achaia, Corinth and Western Attica, • Make use of roadside land, toll station canopies and rooftops of operational centers, • Fully cover the electricity needs of the highway’s operations, including lighting, dynamic signage and tunnel ventilation systems, • Prepare the next step on the road to decarbonization, with over 25 fast-charging stations per 100 km to be operational by the end of the year. This success reflects what we can achieve when teams, partners and public authorities work together with purpose and ambition. Ohio River Bridge East End Crossing, operated by VINCI Highways and its partner BBGI Global Infrastructure SA, is ready for autonomous vehicles after completing pavement upgrade to enhance visibility for camera-based systems. 🔹 39 km (24 miles) of pavement have been upgraded with high-contrast black trailing stripes. 🔹 Pavement markings now meet Indiana’s standards for autonomous vehicle readiness 🔹 Coordination with the Indiana Finance Authority to certify full compliance Vertical signage already compliant with AV systems   This initiative supports State of Indiana’s strategy to prepare infrastructure for next-generation mobility. 𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗜 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮! Improving the environmental performance of road mobility is a shared challenge, and a priority for VINCI Highways. Across our network, we are stepping up concrete actions. In Latin America, recent milestones show the way forward: in Brazil, Entrevias Concessionária de Rodovias S.A. is now fully powered by renewable electricity, thanks to on-site solar plants and certified green energy contracts. In Colombia, Concesionaria Vía Sumapaz has started rolling out a new electric vehicle fleet for maintenance, patrol, and emergency response along the Bogota-Girardot highway.   These initiatives build on the progress made across the VINCI Highways network since 2018, aligned with VINCI Concessions’ environmental strategy.
