The reality is that almost all of us are breathing air that's unsafe: 30,000 lives in the UK are cut short each year because of toxic air and 850,000 (6%) of children are exposed to pollution levels more than double what's considered safe by WHO guidelines. Air pollution is now the second leading risk factor for death in children under five. Young people from deprived communities and global majority communities are hit hardest by toxic air. These health inequalities are unfair, and we believe sharing our voice and calling for action can help change systems to better support young people and everyone. That's why we're supporting @HealthEquals and the #MakeHealthEqual campaign. Everyone deserves clean air to breathe. 👉 https://brnw.ch/21wUm5l #MakeHealthEqual #CleanAir #YouthHealth
