We support activities across the arts, museums and libraries – from theatre to digital art, reading to dance, music to literature, and crafts to collections. By 2030 we want England to be a country in which the creativity of each of us is valued and given the chance to flourish and where everyone of us has access to a remarkable range of high quality cultural experiences. Between 2018 and 2022, we will invest £1.45 billion of public money from government and an estimated £860 million from the National Lottery to help deliver this vision.

Update: 5pm Friday 25 July Grantium is still not available for users. We’re continuing our work to resolve this issue over the weekend. We’re very sorry for the frustration that this has caused people. We have emailed applicants awaiting their decision for Developing Your Creative Practice to confirm we plan to let them know decisions early next week. We will provide further updates on our website and via email from Monday, including details of extended deadlines for Creative Foundations Fund, Libraries Development Framework and Libraries Improvement Fund. Update on our application portal Grantium: We are currently experiencing technical issues with our application portal, Grantium, which means users have not been able to access the system since the evening of 23 July. We are doing everything we can to fix this. We want to reassure users, particularly those submitting applications or awaiting funding decisions, that we will be in touch with them later today, and we are putting arrangements in place so that everyone can access the services they need as quickly as possible. We understand the frustration this is causing, and we sincerely apologise to everybody who has been affected. Improvements to Grantium, and the transformation of our digital platforms are a priority for the Arts Council, so we can deliver a better service for everyone who uses them.

With lived experience of neurodivergence and Long Covid Chronic Fatigue, she understands how vital accessible information and support can be.
