☀️ Sunny days in Liverpool and progress on site go hand in hand! We’re excited to be on the ground with Slipform Engineering installing foundations for four new silos at Gladstone Dock in Liverpool. Each silo requires 78 CFA piles with a diameter of 750 mm. This project showcases our expertise in continuous flight auger piling, delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality results. ✈️ Project Milestone at London Gatwick ✈️ Working on behalf of Mace and in collaboration with WSP in the UK & Ireland, Bachy Soletanche has successfully delivered the foundation works for London Gatwick’s Pier 6 extension project – a key phase in the £140m infrastructure programme. Over 200 CFA piles were installed across three platform levels, with our in-house team driving sustainable, value-engineered solutions, reducing material use and embodied carbon. Project Update - Sandhills Station Upgrade In collaboration with Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, we have recently completed a technically challenging restricted access piling project at Sandhills Station in Liverpool. As part of the station upgrade, our team installed a total of 44 piles, with diameters ranging between 180mm and 300mm. The scheme required 16 piles to be constructed in low-headroom conditions, beneath an existing arch. Working within such tight constraints required careful planning, precision, and teamwork.
