To mark World Hepatitis Day on 28th July, Clinical Pharmacist, Akwasi Mintah, shares how a dedicated team across North Wales is working collaboratively to eliminate hepatitis B and C by 2030. Specialist pharmacists, in collaboration with blood-borne virus (BBV) nurses, substance misuse services, and hepatology teams, are bringing life-changing, person-centred care directly to our communities, ensuring equitable access to screening, treatment, and long-term support.
