🎉 Celebrating our 1100th store opening! 🎉 We're proud to be celebrating a cardfactory milestone today with the opening of our 1100th new store in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire! This milestone, it’s a reflection of the continued growth and strength of our store estate and our commitment to helping more customers celebrate all of life’s moments across the UK. Cheshunt customers will be supported by a fantastic team led by Regional Manager, Maureen Whele. The team were joined by our CEO, Darcy Willson-Rymer and Executive Director for Retail, Steve Lilley to celebrate in true cardfactory celebration style, as they welcome the first customers through the doors. Reflecting on the 1100th store opening, Steve Lilley, Executive Director of Retail Operations, shared, “as a celebrations-focused business, we are thrilled to have officially hit the milestone of opening 1100 stores across the UK and Ireland. This is a testament to our committed teams who help bring our new stores to life and focus on helping our customers celebrate life’s moments. Tomorrow, some of our cardfactory colleagues are lacing up their boots for the second of four Macmillan Mighty Hikes, at the Giant's Causeway in Ireland. Throughout the summer, our retail colleagues - led by our Head of Retail Operations, Jane Rowney - will be hiking over 104 miles to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. We’ll be cheering on our Mighty Hikers every step of the way as they take on this challenge together 💚 Macmillan is a cause close to our hearts. We’ve proudly partnered with them since 2006, raising funds with the help of our incredible colleagues and generous customers. So far, we’ve raised over £8 million - and we’re not stopping there.
