Not your average day at the office... Yesterday, the MacMartin team swapped their desks for adventure and took on the Crystal Maze 💪 From tackling lava pits and yellow slides to navigating giant tree trunks, we definitely stepped out of our comfort zones (and into some questionable helmets). We secured 8 crystals, it should have been 9 (looking at you, Emily Scott 👀), which we were told was above average for a team our size. Safe to say, we were pretty chuffed with that! All that crystal-hunting made us hungry, so we finished off the day with some incredible Vietnamese food in Manchester. Yes, we remembered to take a photo… even if the plates were half-empty by then. Claire MacDonald MCIM and Anna Hutton had a fantastic time at Nudgestock last week - a day packed with insight from across the world of behavioural science 💡 The talks all sparked plenty of ideas, with highlights including Ogilvy’s work with ODEON Cinemas Group on encouraging pre-visit popcorn orders, and how a simple name change helped andrex increase sales of their toilet washlets. Takwa Khelifi’s session on the UN’s first behavioural change TV series -promoting healthier habits and reducing food waste - was another standout. And of course, Maz Speaks Global and Rory Sutherland brought their usual energy and bold thinking to the stage. A huge thank you to the NudgeStock team for such a thought-provoking event. Yesterday marked an exciting day for our small team - with just seven of us, we somehow have two members who share the same birthday! A very happy belated birthday to both Lee MacDonald and Olivia Austin 🎉 They both spent the day visiting Branston Locks Primary School – last September, we built and launched their website, which you can see here: https://lnkd.in/eedE9J48. This was Lee and Olivia’s first time visiting, and it was a pleasure to see the school in person - a beautiful and inspiring environment that reflects the vision behind the project. The visit was the beginning of an exciting new chapter. The team were there to begin discussions around the website for Rugeley John Taylor School, part of the growing John Taylor Multi Academy Trust. Opening in September, it will be Staffordshire’s first all-through school, offering continuous education from early years through to secondary - a milestone we’re proud to support.
