Our current scheme at the 20-21 Visual Arts Centre & Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Scunthorpe is nearing completion with the remaining 100m2 of Yorkstone paving currently being laid following challenges with delayed delivery dates at source. The turfing has also been completed, is being regularly watered and taking well. The scheme is due to be completed this week. 25 of 90 piles installed to date at Godnow Road, Crowle, as part of first step of the Wrays drainage alleviation works for Isle of Axholme & North Nottinghamshire Water Level Management Board. Works are progressing well on our design and build works at Crosby Bridge which is located on the outskirts of Northallerton. The existing bridge beams and deck have been removed we're currently on with installing the steel cages to the bridge abutments in preparation for the concrete pour to said abutments later this week. Last week we teamed up with Run With It Education Centres to deliver a session on the construction industry to pupils from Driffield Secondary School. Our Contracts Manager, andrew thorley, talked about our current project where we're installing a shared footpath/cycleway between Bishop Burton and the Killingwoldgraves roundabout. We also shared information on our company and the different careers in civil engineering and construction. Working with, and trying to help, the next generation is something we're really passionate about and we'll be meeting another group from Driffield School this week, too. Works are nearing completion on our scheme installing a shared footway/cycleway from Bishop Burton to Killingwoldgraves Roundabout. We have so far completed over 1000m footway and are currently working around the footway installing edging kerbs and ducting. Another project completed, this time on the Broadway at Sutton-on-Sea, near Mablethorpe. The final carriageway surfacing visit was completed by EC Surfacing Ltd earlier this week and the photo shows Trustseal Ltd installing the new road markings.   The road closure was removed from York Road on Tuesday and the scheme is now fully complete after starting on the first day in January. A bit of an update on our works at the 20-21 Visual Arts Centre and Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Scunthorpe. Cement bound granular mixture sub-base complete and ready for new Marshalls Scoutmoor paving to be laid outside the arts centre, tying into the new plaza paving scheme recently completed by others. Works have also started outside the adjacent North Lincolnshire Council & ONGO offices to begin reconstructing the block paved carriageway which is currently in a poor condition.
