On Tuesday, 13th May 2025, we celebrated a significant milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony for our Paris 2 Data Centre. The event was attended by our esteemed project partners, the Colt DCS project team, members of the Colt DCS Board and ELT, as well as media representatives. We were also pleased to welcome the Mayor of Villebon and his team, representatives from la mairie des Ulis and l'agglomeration Paris-Saclay. The day began with a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony, where attendees participated in laying cement and bricks and shovelling soil. The Oriel project is progressing at pace! Having reached the topping out milestone at the end of last year, the rest of the project is developing well with highly innovative practices being employed in the process, from HYTEN Engineering's BAMTEC Reinforcement Technology. Roll-it! to HP Construction Services' very own robot. Watch the video below for more of these highlights. The new centre we are delivering in Camden is a partnership between Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and Moorfields Eye Charity.
