The festivities showed the strong connection between the #ArmedForces and the people we serve 💪 The Band of HM Royal Marines Portsmouth and The Central Band of the Royal Air Force led the musical celebrations. Congratulations to the Lionesses from all England fans in the UK Armed Forces.

The UK has achieved a significant milestone in stratospheric reconnaissance technology. Recent trials of high-altitude uncrewed balloons have demonstrated remarkable capabilities, operating continuously at altitudes between 60,000 and 80,000 feet – double that of commercial aircraft. The technology opens pathways to other benefits including disaster zone communications, weather forecasting enhancement, and climate research support.
