Sponsorship Opportunity for our Cycle 100km Event - let’s make a difference together! We’re thrilled to announce that Welsh rugby legend Shane Williams will be taking part in a special cycle challenge in support of our charity and your brand can be right there with him! We’re currently inviting sponsors to come forward and get involved in the event which takes place on Sunday 7th September. Here are just some of the perks: ✅ Your logo on Shane’s cycling jersey – seen across all media and event coverage ✅ Your brand in goody bags – include samples, leaflets or promotional gifts for all riders ✅ Visibility on event-day signage, social media, and press materials This is a unique opportunity to align your brand with a lifesaving charity; while reaching a wide audience of supporters, cyclists, and the wider community. Spaces are limited and timelines are short so if you'd like more information on our sponsorship packages please email events@walesairambulance.com or send us a direct message - we'd love to have you onboard. 🚁

About us
What We Do Provide air cover to relieve illness and injury across Wales. We have been doing this since 2001. We are the only air ambulance charity based in, and dedicated to, Wales. Our Mission We are on standby every day to protect human life through Helicopter Emergency Medical Services and air ambulance transfers across Wales. Our Vision To provide a 24-hour operation so we can help people both day and night, and continually strive for an outstanding air ambulance service available to everyone in Wales. Serving Wales, Saving Lives Wales Air Ambulance covers the whole of Wales every single day, covering rural countryside, bustling towns and cities, along the Welsh coastline and across vast mountain ranges. Each year, our helicopters attend around 3,000 missions. Our four airbase operations in Caernarfon, Llanelli, Welshpool and Cardiff are ready to save lives wherever needed. Flying ED (Emergency Department) Wales Air Ambulance can be anywhere in Wales within 20 minutes, taking the emergency department (ED) directly to the patient. Our critical care consultants and practitioners are highly skilled and we carry some of the most pioneering medical equipment in the world. This includes the ability to deliver blood transfusions, administer anaesthesia and undertake emergency operations. WAA is a registered charity and relies entirely on public donations to raise the £6.5 million needed each year to keep its four helicopters flying for Wales.

Laura Davies, a Wales Air Ambulance Trustee has become the first Welsh woman in over 40 years to gain a hot air balloon licence in Wales. 41-year-old Laura Davies decided to learn to fly after launching a festival in memory of her late husband, Arwel, who was a passionate balloonist. Laura said: “I feel over the moon! My purpose for flying a hot air balloon was purely to see Arwel’s beloved hot air balloon back in the sky.” Dr Sue Barnes, Chief Executive of Wales Air Ambulance said: “The whole of the Wales Air Ambulance family would like to extend its congratulations to Laura, on her wonderful achievement.” Da Iawn Laura! https://cutt.ly/qrSXTYQW
