  • 🚀 From Hype to Human Impact: What Today’s AI Strategy Session Taught Us At this afternoon’s Women Leaders Forum UK workshop, we were joined by industry thought leader Jennifer Heape for a powerful discussion on what AI really means for senior leaders - beyond the buzzwords. Here are some of our key takeaways: 👩💼 AI is not just a tech strategy, it’s a human strategy. 🤝 Empathy, psychological safety and ethical considerations must come before a tech strategy 📊 Use AI to support better decision-making, not just efficiency. 🎯 Don’t chase tech for tech’s sake, start with the problem you’re solving. From Agentic AI to smart note taking tools like Granola, and platforms like Copilot, ChatGPT and Claude, we explored how leaders can use AI to augment human potential, not replace it. With Boards increasingly focused on AI’s role in shaping business outcomes, now is the time to define your vision, train your teams, and embed AI into your broader strategy. A huge thank you to Jennifer for such a thought-provoking session and to our inspiring community for asking the questions that matter. What are your thoughts on this? Post in the comments. #womenleaders #AIintheboardroom #futureofleadership #AIforGood

  • 🚀 A powerful way to start our new cohort 🚀 Yesterday, we welcomed our new and returning members for our new cohort kick-off. And what a way to start with a panel discussion on 'Unmasking Dysfunction'. Our expert panel of leadership coaches explored the subtle and systemic behaviours that undermine leadership effectiveness and offered strategies on how to overcome them. Here are some reflections from the discussion: 🔎 Start with self-reflection | ask yourself 'what role am I playing in this?' Our own ego and blind spots can unintentionally contribute to the very challenges we're trying to fix. Real leadership begins when we lead ourselves first. 🎯 Be clear on your organisational strategy and goals. This sets the tone for effective governance, shared accountability and aligned expectations. ➡️ Don't be afraid to flex your leadership style to cut through the noise. Whether this means being more direct, more collaborative or just listening more, true impact comes from knowing how to adapt your leadership style to the person and the situation. Thank you to our brilliant panellists Deborah Dor, Bryony Williams and Emily Koolen (dialing in all the way from Fiji) for such a powerful and thought-provoking session. And thank you to all of our members for being on this exciting journey together. If you'd like to join our waitlist for the next cohort, drop Angie Vaux a DM. #womeninleadership #womenempoweringwomen
