    In October 2020 I wrote a proposal to secure the funding to enable me to commission a substantial insight research project to gain a better understanding of how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted black, Asian and minority ethnic communities in Cheshire and Merseyside and their views about the vaccination programme.

    The findings from the research were then used to develop a targeted campaign to address vaccine hesitancy within these communities.

    The PRCA is largest association for PR and communications people in the UK, It represents many of the major UK PR consultancies and exists to raise standards in PR and communications. The awards celebrated the very best PR and communications agencies in the North West.

    Winning this award for the Healthier Together consultation was a great achievement and demonstrated the communication and engagement approach was recognised as best practice and is in line with industry standards.

  • Best Social Campaign

    National Asian Media award

    I won a National Asian Media award for a behaviour change programme I designed and led targeting hard to reach communities in 2014. This programme was subsequently adopted by the Department of Health and rolled out nationally.

    ILoveMe, a monthly publication I commissioned, managed and marketed in partnership with a regional newspaper, the Manchester Evening News, won Gold in the category Public Sector Advertising Initiative of the year.

    The Quit-It campaign that I designed, co-ordinated and implemented whilst working for Dr Foster Intelligence was a winner at the IPA Best of Health Awards 2008, consumer press category.
