After taking up cycling in July, I’ve taken on the slightly mad challenge of riding the length of the UK and climbing more than 52,000 feet - 20,000 feet higher than most planes fly. But it’s all for a good cause. I’m hoping to raise £2,200 for Princes Trust in the process.

The Prince's Trust supports young people to get their lives back on track, helping them to build their confidence and skills. They work with young people who have been excluded from school, are struggling with their mental health, who are homeless, who’ve been in prison or who have generally lost hope and direction. With youth unemployment set to reach an all-time high of 1 million post-pandemic, it seems like as important a time as ever to support their work.

With the ride just 186 days away, the panic is starting to set in, but your support and donations will give me the motivation I need. A donation of any size would be so appreciated - you can support me through my Virgin Money Giving page.

As a Digital Champion, I aided businesses, schools and charities of all varieties in helping people become digitally capable and protect them from fraud. 1 in 4 adults and 30% of organisations don't have basic digital skills. I did this by visiting and running sessions, as well as by mentoring and aiding over a longer period.

I was required to build and maintain Party organisation to help deliver an election victory. I was responsible for establishing an effective election and campaigning organisation for all elections within the ward, working in liaison with the officers and Campaign committees of the Constituency Parties, Branches, Groups and other units within the Party.

I was responsible for organising and implimenting the campaigning activities of the society for elections locally, but also elections around the country. I was required to liase with the various Constituency Labour Parties and branches we interact with. I had the responsibility for ensuring that Sheffield Labour Students engages constructively with the Labour Party, National Labour Students and Young Labour.
