Year 1 enabled me to develop my skills in engineering science, mathematics, computing, engineering drawing including AutoCAD, fluid mechanics, soil mechanics, structures, materials and sustainable construction and design. There is an emphasis on practical work throughout the first year including practical surveying, model-making and the use of computer-aided design packages.

Years 3 & 4 develop further the core civil engineering disciplines: structures, hydraulics and geotechnics. during my 2nd term, I chose to focus my studies in my final year toward project and environmental management where i learnt the importance of managing a sustainable project from conception to decommissioning; on time, within budget and to the highest quality. -
