One of the benefits of UI gamification is that it can create a sense of achievement and progress for users. Gamification can also make mundane or repetitive tasks more enjoyable, which can increase user satisfaction and retention. On the other hand, If not implemented correctly, gamification can feel forced or gimmicky, which can turn users off.
