  • It’s #TeamAmex Tuesday! Today, Peter based in Florida shares how our Tuition Assistance helped him return to school to earn his master's degree in business administration: I’m Peter, a Learning & Performance Specialist in Global Learning & Knowledge Management, and I’ve been with Amex since 2018. I love learning, so going back to school has always been really important to me. Thanks to Amex’s Tuition Assistance benefit, I was able to complete my MBA at UMass Lowell – Manning School of Business in 2022. With a concentration in Managerial Leadership, I've been able to seamlessly blend my coursework into my work at Amex.   Without being part of Team Amex, going back to school wouldn’t have happened. Period.   I’m truly amazed by the support I received and the amount of money I saved. I’m also thankful to my colleagues for recognizing my accomplishment and helping me celebrate after graduation. Find your place at #TeamAmex. Explore open roles here: https://lnkd.in/eJPA7P-8. American Express is an Equal Opportunity Employer. • Inside American Express’ first merchant directory, you’ll find listings for grand hotels and cozy inns, steakhouses and diners. Merchant directories truly had it all. The printed guides launched in 1958 and continued into the 1970s, so browsing one today is like unearthing a time capsule — just ask Ira, our resident archivist. Listen to him talk about these pocket-sized guides and their impact on American Express, then take a deeper dive with him here: https://go.amex/x6KLGx

  • American Express today reported strong second-quarter 2025 financial results, delivering record revenue for the quarter of $17.9 billion, up 9% year-over year, and EPS of $4.08.   Chairman and CEO Steve Squeri said: “Our second-quarter results continued the strong momentum we have seen in our business over the last several quarters. We saw record Card Member spending in the quarter, demand for our premium products was strong, and our credit performance remained best-in-class. Looking at the upcoming refresh of our U.S. Consumer and Business Platinum Cards this fall, we are confident in our ability to sustain our leadership in the premium space, drawing on our competitive strengths. With our differentiated Membership model and proven product refresh strategy, combined with the expansion of the premium category, we see a long runway for growth.”   Read more about our second-quarter results here: https://lnkd.in/ejehTw3y
