📢 We’re #Hiring! | #Protesist-#Orthotist 📍 Location: #Quito, #Ecuador Job Purpose The Prosthetist-Orthotist will be responsible for: Assessing patients and recording medical histories. Fabricating and delivering high-quality prosthetics. Managing inventory, maintaining the prosthetic workshop, and performing assigned tasks. 🛠 Key Requirements: Education: Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist. Experience: 2 years of experience with lower limb prosthetics; upper limb experience preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace and clinical management software. Languages: Basic to intermediate English (A1-B2). 🤝 Soft Skills: Empathy and respect for patients. Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate with international volunteers. Adaptability and problem-solving abilities. Proactive leadership and initiative. 🛠 Key Responsibilities Independently assess and evaluate new patients. Fabricate and deliver prostheses while providing instructions on usage and care. Perform follow-up appointments, manage repairs, and update clinical records. Manage workshop and inventory, including maintenance and supply procurement. Provide prosthetic care at ROMP’s clinic and during mobile outreach events. 🛠 Job Details Duration: Permanent. Hours: 40 hours per week (with flexibility for additional hours as needed). Start Date: February 24, 2025. Benefits:Full legal benefits (IESS, bonuses, annual leave).
