“Jason led Siemens/Next47’s investment in Bonsai and served as a Board Observer on Bonsai’s Board of Directors. In the board room, he was an active participant while being respectful of the formal boundaries for observers / directors. After every meeting he provided a detailed email with his thoughts, and I very much appreciated his perspective and candor, as well as the “no-expectations” frame in which it was offered and the willingness to spend time diving in as requested. In addition, the side channel link into Siemens for our business with them was very valuable. Understanding and navigating a large organization like Siemens is a significant undertaking, and as they were our first large enterprise customer, these insights helped us not just with Siemens, but in our enterprise engagements more broadly. Throughout all of this, Jason was comfortable and clear with what he did and did not know, and equally comfortable spending the time to delve deeper or to move to other topics quickly.
