What background knowledge do you need?

- [Instructor] To get the most out of this course, you'll need a basic level of ability within Adobe Captivate. You should be able to navigate within the program and understand the concept of content appearing as slides in the filmstrip. You should also have familiarity with on-screen items such as click boxes and multi-state objects, as well as how to control the timing of these objects with the timeline. If you're not familiar with these concepts, you might want to start first with the course, Adobe Captivate Essential Training by David Rivers. Also helpful would be familiarity with Advanced Actions. Hand in hand with Advanced Actions, is the concept of variables, whether they're ones that exist in Captivate by default, or ones that you create.
