- Now for some housekeeping, before we'll start to work in after effects, it's always a good practice to create a folder structure. So the next time we'll visit this project, it will be easier to find stuff and know how it was consistent. Again, I must mention that if you are going to open the project that I supplied to you with the exercise files, all the folders I'm about to create are going to be there. So there is no need to follow me unless you are starting from scratch with your own project. All right. So let's click on this double-headed arrow. In my case to go to the project partner and over hear, I'm going to create three new folders. So I'll make sure nothing is selected by clicking somewhere over here in the gray portion, click to create a new folder, I'm going to name this one footage, and then immediately drag the clip over here.
