- Would you rather accumulate value or risk in a complex and uncertain environment like we are in today? Working in silos and handing off work from one team to the next creates risk. Reducing handoffs between teams and working as a cross-functional team. Focusing on feedback is what accumulates value and learning and faster. One of the key Agile ways of working used to enable accumulating value over risk and get speed is by reducing handoffs. Now, when there are many teams involved in creating a product and each team carefully manages their capacity based on expected inputs, estimates, and outputs, a lot of time is spent managing all of this.
