Batch plotting using the PUBLISH command
- [Instructor] Once again, we're staying in the CreatingOutput.dwg file. And you'll notice that I'm in the GA Layout tab at the moment, the General Arrangement Plan view that we might consider plotting from AutoCAD LT. Now, what we're gonna have a little look at now is batch plotting using what is called the Publish command. Now the one thing I will stress here, is make sure that you save your drawing before you batch plot. Otherwise, AutoCAD will get to a point in the Publish command where it will say, "Oh, you haven't saved, please go back and start again," which you don't really want to have to do. So just click on the Save icon there at the top of the screen in the Quick Access tool bar. Just make sure you do a Quick Save, as they call it. Now Batch Plot is available here. I can click on Batch Plot straightaway and it will open up the Publish command, or if I decide to click on Plot like so, it notices that I've got various layout tabs and the model tab available.
