Course prerequisites
- Being an introduction to Solidity, you don't need to have any prior experience with the language. However, having some experience using blockchain or at least understanding the basics of what blockchain is and how it works will help you. Also, some experience with Ethereum may help, but if not, no problem. Think of this course as the basis of the language to be able to program decentralized apps later. You can develop with Solidity on Mac, Windows, or Linux, so the environment you use won't have any impact on learning the language, and in most cases, you can use the web-based Remix environment, which we'll explore later on.
