- [Instructor] UML component diagrams represent high level components of a software system and show us the relationship between the different components in a system, or a workload, or a project. It's going to give me information about how the components are organized and structured. It helps me visualize the physical structure, or the virtual resources that are hosted on the physical structure, if we're looking at the cloud. And it helps me understand the relationships between the system components that make up my workload. Let's take a look at a component example. In this example, we have a couple of different components in our system. Starting out, we've got a deployment spec for this web application. This spec will define the specifications of the artifact, the web application. It's running on an application server. We can see the protocol is TCPIP. And we also have a view, a CRM view, customer relationship…
