What's your unique value proposition for your podcast?
- Defining your unique value proposition is essential for setting your podcast apart from the competition in both attracting and retaining listeners. Your UVP communicates the benefits and value that your podcast offers to your audience. With my own podcast, "Screw It Just Do It", I use my UVP in my banner on YouTube, in my show description, and in my show trailer, and show introduction. These are among the first things that people will read, listen, and view when engaging with your podcast. So, you need to be able to communicate them well. They say that the average person listens to four to six different podcasts a week. So, the only way we're going to get someone to listen to your show is by getting them to replace one of their regular podcasts with yours. So, your podcast needs to stand out.
