Build a lab with XCP-ng
- [Instructor] Earlier I mentioned that there are two web interfaces that we might end up using with XCP-ng. These are XO Lite and XOA. XO stands for Xen Orchestra. XO Light is a web interface for the API, and we can perform many tasks around managing a single host using this software. XO Lite is what we see here, and I encourage you to spend some time exploring it. To manage more than one host, and to perform some management tasks, we'll need to use XOA, which is a little bit more complex. We can get that set up with this Deploy XOA button. This creates a VM, which we'll need to provide some information for. I'll put this VM on my local storage, and I'll connect it to my pool-wide network. I'll leave it set to DHCP for now. I'll need to provide a login account and an admin password. I'll also need to set an SSH password. Then I'll click Deploy. This will take just a minute. When that's done, I'll find my new virtual machine. Then, I'll find the Change state button here. I'll click…
