Get started with XCP-ng

- [Instructor] The Xen Hypervisor is a popular choice for running virtual machines, and it can be installed on many different Linux distributions. Well, we can find setup instructions in various places online. I'm going to spend a few minutes showing you XCP-ng, which like Proxmox VE is an all-in-one Linux distribution that already has the Hypervisor tools and management tools built into it. So we'll use that to make the setup here pretty straightforward. XCP-ng stands for Xen Cloud Platform, next generation. XCP-ng is based on CentOS Linux, and it uses QEMU to manage VMs. The Zen Hypervisor has support for many types of CPU and it can scale from a single home lab host to a cluster of hosts in a data center. There are various interfaces for Xen hosts, including command line tools and web interfaces. XCP-ng includes two web interfaces, and we'll take a brief look at them both.
