- [Instructor] Excel is the most popular data analysis tool that's currently out on the marketplace. But there's so many features within Excel that you could get lost rather quickly. In this video, we're going to focus on pivot charts, as they are a mechanism that allow you to very quickly slice through your data and build infographics that visualize the underlying trends. Now let's take a look at how easy it is for you to slice through your own data. I'm going to be using the sales data Excel file from the course exercise files. Feel free to pause the video now and pull up this file. Taking a look at the sales data file, you'll see Item Number ID, Average Inventory on Hand, In-Stock Percentage, Sales And Dollar Amount, and Week ID as the column headers. In this exercise, we're mainly going to focus on Sales and Week ID, but it's a good idea if you're building out a pivot chart to highlight the entire data…
