- [Instructor] Let's talk about Revit Schedules. The Revit model is a database of information about the elements that it contains. An instrument to report and display information is one of my absolute favorite Revit features, the schedule. Previously, we had created a note block schedule to compile keynotes. Now we will create component schedules to extract and compile information about building components in our model. How do schedules help us? They are helpful in so many different ways. They can help us to calculate quantities, list out materials, components, finishes and accessories, compile lists of sheets and views, and provide general notes about components, all in an easy-to-read and organized format. So let's get a quick preview of the schedules we're going to create in this exercise. We're going to start with the sheet list, which lists out the sheet name, sheet number.
