- [Instructor] Here's a tip I'd like to share with you that helps to quickly and easily assist you to set the groundwork to enable views and elements to appear consistent on the sheet. Intrigued? Well listen on. Let's go to a floor plan. On this floor plan, we are going to create a scope box. You'll see that we already have grids in place on this floor plan. And just a note, a lot of organizational standards would mandate that grids going on the X and the Y axis are named differently. They may be named numerically or alphabetically. Please be guided by your organizational standards. So let's start with a scope box. We are going to go to the view tab. We are going to create a scope box. Now a scope box is just what it sounds like. It's a box. When you look at it in 3D, you do see that you have got a box that sets an extent for what it is that you want to see of the model on the sheet. Now, scope boxes can be…
