- [Instructor] So far, this is what we have. We have got a very simple, vanilla, out of the box railing. Let's give it some more pizzazz. Let's create a custom railing. The first thing we're going to do is create a new railing type. Edit type, duplicate, and I'm going to give it a custom name. Now, in the railing type properties, let's start by adding a three foot six inch high guardrail. So we are going to use the top rail functionality. We are going to edit the height. And we are going to use the top rail type. Let's take a quick look at what the top rail type really is. Click on the button with the three dots on it. And now this allows us to set up the join mode, which could be miter or fillet. We're going to stick with miter. You can actually pick whatever profile it is that you need. You can set up the transitions between the railing. You could also set up an extension. Let's OK out of here, let's see what we've…
