- [Lecturer] All right, our model is now ready to generate documents. A simple underlying concept to understand in Revit is that you are carrying an imaginary camera around a virtual building, and you're taking pictures at various angles, looking at different focal points, using different lenses, focal length, and lens settings. So, Revit sees elements like a camera. Lenses are views. Lens settings are visibility, graphic overrides. Focal length is view range. The camera location dictates where it is that the view is taken from and what it is that the view is looking at. So in short, mastery of these concepts will allow you to control the visibility of elements so that only required elements are displayed in the required fashion on the sheet.
