- [Instructor] I'm really excited to share a cool pro tip with you. In the previous video, we had used foundation tools in the structure tab to place wall, slab, and isolated foundations. Now, placing foundations may not be a part of the architect's responsibilities. It would be more likely that the structural team would be responsible for that. In a situation like that, the foundations in the architect's model would just need to be indicative. Let's take a look at some approaches for that. The first would be to sketch in a detail section view using detail lines and filled regions in the required view. This approach is suitable when foundations are really simple, very generic, and visible in only a few views. Or, to use the approach that has already been described in the previous video and model the foundations using walls.
