- [Instructor] We have a completed model now. The next step would be to add a site to our model. Let's talk about that. Site information includes features outside the exterior walls of our building. Those features would include softscape, that would be any grassy areas, any ground cover, hardscape, paved areas, walks, patios, parking, exterior furniture, benches or tables, maybe umbrellas, play equipment, any plantings, trees, shrubs, any raised or lowered areas that would require grading, and finally, any water features. Not of the site information is under the jurisdiction of a civil engineer, a site designer or a landscape architect, but there would be some cases where an informative site plan would be required in an architectural set.
