Choosing a chart layout with Quick Layout
- [Instructor] After creating a chart, and on this worksheet called YearData, we've got three separate charts, sometimes we're concerned about making changes to the chart. Now, let's say the focus is not so much on color. If we do have those needs, we can go to the format tab and tons of choices there. But back on the chart design tab is a button off to the left called quick layout. And the reason we want to point that out to you is as we view a chart here, we might, for example, be asking ourselves, well, one of these charts has room for a title, but the other ones don't. The legend could be below the data or it could be above, and we might want a total down the left hand side. Those terms fall under the general category of layout. And this quick layout button, which is easily overlooked, is off to the left side here. And when you click it, it doesn't look very promising.
