Change a PivotChart’s layout
- [Instructor] When you create a pivot chart in Microsoft Excel, the program uses a basic layout to determine when and where to display elements such as the chart title, a legend representing each data series, axis titles, labels, and other elements. The basic layout Excel uses is good enough for a quick look at your data, but you'll probably want to change it based on your own needs. And in this movie, I will give you the tools that you need to do so. My sample file is 06_05_Layout, and you can find it in the Chapter 6 folder of the Exercise Files collection. On Sheet 1 of this workbook, I have a pivot chart, and if I want to change this layout, I need to click it so that I get access to the three contextual tabs on the ribbon. In this case, I want to use the design contextual tab. So I'll click that.
