Create charts instantly with these keyboard shortcuts
- [Instructor] We're looking at a worksheet called chart data in our Chapter One file. Charts can be a valuable colorful addition to any kind of presentation, and they're a lot easier to create than what some people might imagine. We see two charts on this particular worksheet depicting the data we see over in columns A through E. In all cases when working with charts we need to select the data that we're interested in first. So the data off to the left as I'm clicking and dragging to highlight them. You probably have learned already if you've worked with charts even a little bit, typically totals and details don't work well together. If you think of tall columns, for example, the ones in column E are going to be really tall so let's just highlight this data here. Now, two great keystroke shortcuts.
