Navigate within worksheets efficiently
- [Instructor] When you work with large lists, you should always have a sense of how big a worksheet is. We're not talking about bits and bytes, but how many rows, how many columns? And again, we're not really counting, but just have a quick idea of how big is this? Press Control + End. That's the E-N-D key, not the letter N. Control + End, what happens? The active cell jumps to what we might call the lower right-hand corner of the active part of this worksheet. And based on what happens here, see where the active cell has jumped to, we can be sure in this worksheet there is no data anywhere below row 742, nor is there any data to the right of column AE. And often, as is the case here, there's nothing in this cell specifically. If I press Control + Up Arrow here, there's data there, as there often is. Now, we can always get back to the upper left-hand corner no matter where we are in a worksheet with Control + Home.…
