- While generative AI opens new frontiers, it's essential to understand its limitations and constraints. While remarkably adept at processing information, Gen AI thrives in well-defined contexts, scenarios with clear parameters and structured data. When faced with highly unstructured or ambiguous data, that effectiveness diminishes. It also operates on patterns and data it's been exposed to during its training. That means that while it can generate logical and relevant outcomes, it lacks the intuitive and creative capacities to create new data. Any problem solving which demands a fusion of creativity and analysis falls outside its current capabilities, which is fine because that's where you excel. Generative AI also lacks personal values or moral frameworks, so it struggles with ethical dilemmas. Ask a tool like ChatGPT or Google Gemini, "Is it ethical to steal food to feed your family?"
