- In this video, we will see how to use Gemini inside of Google Docs, Gmail, and other Google apps. I'm starting with a document opened in Google Docs, and you may need to click this arrow near the top right, which will show or hide the menu bar at the top. When that menu bar is visible, I see a Gemini button near the top right. Clicking this button opens the Gemini side panel. But that button and the side panel are only available to individual users who have the Gemini Advanced subscription, and business users must have the Business Standard, Business Plus, or Enterprise subscription to access the side panel. The Gemini side panel lets me use the Gemini AI while working in this document. When you open the side panel in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, it will immediately start compiling a summary of the document that you have open.
