- The quality and consistency of interview questions can make or break your hiring process. You can't effectively evaluate potential hires if you ask them different questions when they're applying for the same job. Traditionally, creating interview questions has relied heavily on the intuition and experience of hiring managers. However, AI tools that develop and optimize interview questions have become more precise, data-driven and efficient. This stops people involved in the hiring process from shooting from the hip, which almost always results in hiring candidates who they liked most versus the most qualified. Let me share an example. I was hired by an organization in Alexandria with government contracts to help diversify their leadership team, which was 95% older White men.
