Using AI to fact-check your writing
- Sometimes you need to check that what an AI tool has written for you is correct. So why not ask an AI tool to help you? I mean, it may sound a bit ironic, but it's actually a really great idea. I recently used AI to help me plan a talk that I was doing, and then I used another AI tool to help me fact check the suggested academic studies. And I found that about a third of them were inaccurate. Thank goodness I checked. And for those of you going, well, can you trust the AI for fact checking? The answer is not entirely, which is why I get it to format its response to make it easier to check the fact checking. I never said this was going to be easy, but you know, if you're after the best results, you need to put in a bit of effort.
