- [Instructor] If you have to add captions to the images in your documents, they can be created automatically from metadata associated with the image in either a live dynamic fashion or a static text. In this movie, we'll see how to set up caption options and add static metadata captions to images in your layout. Let's start by configuring the document caption setup. To do that, go to object, captions, caption setup. A metadata caption is made up of three parts, which is the piece of metadata from the image file sandwiched between optional custom text before and after the metadata. And notice the menus for entering special characters along with your text. And I also have a pop-up menu showing the various pieces of metadata that I can choose from.
