- [Instructor] All right, now there's another great way to interact with instruments inside of Logic for iPad and that's using a pattern sequencer. So I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to create a new instrument track using this plus sign toward the top left. I'm going to create a pattern software instrument track. Now, when this comes up, we have our choice of many different presets here, and most of them are going to be geared toward drums, but not all of them are. So let me hit these two parallel lines on the right-hand side here, and that'll give me sort of a full screen look. And we can get rid of the browser for now, I'm going to go with this kit that I chose. And essentially, the step sequencer is going to loop and it's going to loop through these steps that have a resolution of one 16th note, meaning each one of these (beat thumping) is a quarter note.
